Domain flipping is one of the easiest and quickest ways to start making money online. You can do it from home with very little money.
What is a Domain?
Before you try domain flipping, let me try to define domain for you, as it applies to the internet.
Locations on the internet are organized by their IP (internet protocol) address. A domain name, like Working Online Works.com is assigned to identify that address. In the real world the address, 350 5th Ave, New York, NY is known as the Empire State Building.
Domain names can only be assigned to one location. You can register any combination of letters and numbers, that you think of, as a domain name. Your goal is something easily related to and understood. As long as someone else has not already registered it, it's yours. Once registered you can hold on to it, attach a website to it, or sell it.
It will usually cost $7 to $10, to register each domain name for a year. To retain your rights you must, periodically renew it.

Most people register a domain, to develop a website or blog. When developed, the domain usually will increase in value. An undeveloped domain, with commercial or pop culture relevance to a popular celebrity, business, or activity, may also be valuable.
If you spot a popular trend, and register a related domain, you may hold it for the future and allow it to increase in value, or sell it right away.
Your primary target customer, is someone who wants the domain for their own website or blog. They will be willing to spend more, for their own use. Other domain flippers will be bargain hunting.
Where to Sell
Ebay is a good place to list your developed domains. However it won't be easy, to sell domains with nothing attached.
In that case you may list your domain names, with a parking service, where it can get some traffic for awhile, or other site where domain names are registered and sold, like afternic.com, moniker.com, or sedo.com.
The likelihood of your finding the $100,000 domain name is slim, but with an average investment of $7, you hit profit easily. If you manage a steady flow of domains and average just $25 you can make a living.
